PRODUCT OWNER - BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONWe're currently recruiting for a highly analytical and delivery-focused Product Owner with a strong business or systems analysis background to lead end-to-end software delivery initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver tangible value.The ideal candidate combines deep analytical skills with practical experience in process modelling, requirements documentation, and Agile delivery. You will translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, functional specifications, and workflows using modelling tools such as UML and BPMN, and guide the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.Success in this role requires balancing strategic product vision with day-to-day execution, driving timely releases, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, and continuously improving processes and outcomes.Responsibilities:Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritised, and aligned with business objectivesTranslate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specificationsCollaborate closely with stakeholders, business users, and development teams to define product vision and roadmapFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectivesUse modelling techniques (UML, BPMN) to document processes, workflows, and system interactionsEnsure requirements are traceable, testable, and aligned with solution architectureSupport QA and UAT activities by clarifying requirements and validating delivered functionalityManage scope, risks, and dependencies across multiple delivery streamsContinuously assess product performance and identify opportunities for improvementRequirements:Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or hybrid role in software delivery projectsStrong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle managementDemonstrated experience writing high-quality user stories and acceptance criteriaProficiency in modelling tools and techniques, including UML (Use Case, Sequence, Activity Diagrams) and BPMNExperience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UX, and stakeholdersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
