We are looking for a motivated Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead EMENA sourcing activities, negotiate competitive prices, strengthen supplier relationships, and secure high-quality product availability. Your work will directly support business performance through cost optimization, supplier development, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
What you bring
* Min. 5 years of purchasing/negotiation experience (incl. 2 years in chemical industry)
* Strong knowledge of EMENA chemical markets, sourcing processes & category management
* Experience in sourcing direct/indirect materials; Asia & China sourcing is a plus
* Understanding of costing & financial principles
* Fluent English; Dutch/French are an advantage
* Strong MS Office skills; SAP experience is a plus
* Excellent negotiation, communication & stakeholder management abilities
* Optimize total cost of ownership & ensure supply continuity
* Conduct market research and spend analysis
* Identify alternative raw material suppliers
* Lead negotiations for high-impact indirect spend
* Prepare analytical reports supporting procurement KPIs & market insights
