✍️WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:
* Administer and maintain enterprise storage systems including SAN, Hyperconverged, and S3 (on-premise).
* Monitor storage capacity and performance, and proactively address issues.
* Implement storage scaling, optimization, and obsolescence management.
* Document and report on storage health, usage, and lifecycle status.
* Configure and manage backups using Veeam Backup & Replication.
* Monitor backup status and investigate failures.
* Perform server and mailbox backup and restore operations.
* Ensure compliance with backup schedules including daily incremental and weekly/monthly full backups.
* Manage yearly tape backups and rotation.
* Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
* Ensure backups are stored securely and replicated to remote blob and immutable storage.
* Collaborate with IT Operations to validate recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO).
* Generate reports on backup success rates, storage utilization, and compliance.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation for storage and backup procedures.
* Participate in regular audits and provide evidence of compliance.
* Veeam Backup management and configuration, DB upgrade
* Backup job rotation to ensure the long running job is optimized
* Media Agent installation
* Backup job schedule and restore
* Veeam SP and feature upgrade and Maintenance
* Daily Backup reporting
* Ensure rerunning failed backup Job
* Monitoring Replication Azure Blob
* Storage configuration of Pure SAN and Object
* LUN allocation and reclaim
* Zone Configuration and cleanup
* OS, Firmware, and SP upgrade of Pure Storage
* Brocade SAN Switch configuration
* Daily Health check and maintenance of Storage and SAN
* Knowledge on configuring and managing using Fabric Manager
* SAN Switch firmware upgrade
* Maintain SAN switch free port status and inventory
* Troubleshoot port down / error issues
* Consolidation and cleanup tasks
* Performance monitoring and troubleshooting for all ISL port issues

* At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
* Fluent English
* Capacity management and Reporting
📅 WHERE AND WHEN?
* Workplace: C/ Santa Leonor, 65 - Madrid. Hybrid (60% In-office / 40% remote)
* Work Schedule: 12X5 Shift (7:00 to 16:00 / 10:00 to 19:00) + oncall
