We are currently looking for a Laboratory Project Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Walloon Region, Belgium. As the Laboratory Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of new laboratories within a major R&D facility construction project.
This is a mission until June 2028 and depending on experience, the available rate is €640-720 per day.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Laboratory Project Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Laboratory Project Manager, you will coordinate the sourcing, moving, documentation, and calibration of 920 lab equipment items, including the procurement of 170 new pieces.
2. As the Laboratory Project Manager, you will act as the single point of contact for the Commissioning & Qualification Engineering team, procurement, Digital Technology, and the scientific community regarding lab readiness.
3. As the Laboratory Project Manager, you will lead the overall delivery, installation, and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with GLP, commissioning, and validation processes.
4. As the Laboratory Project Manager, you will oversee the creation of detailed schedules for equipment and room readiness, reporting monthly progress and taking remedial actions as needed.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Laboratory Project Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Pharmacy, or other relevant disciplines.
2. Extensive industry experience in the pharmaceutical or hospital industry within QC, Engineering, maintenance, or Facilities roles.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with commissioning & qualification, CSV activities, and R&D facility management.
