Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on Java and Angular for application development. Additionally, experience with modern development practices such as Agile, CI/CD, and Domain Driven Design is essential.
Responsibilities:
1. Delivering assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of an application development project. Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications; performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program.
2. You will be working under supervision from the Technical lead/Project Manager or a Senior Developer to accomplish assigned tasks. At the same time contribute a design for specific deliverables and assist in the development of technical solutions.
3. Job duties will include design, development and testing, using Java/J2EE technologies.
4. Help maintain a rigorous software build and testing framework for continuous building and testing the developed software and keep track of failed builds or build issues.
5. Prepare software technical documentation based on functional documentation and specifications, taking into account any specified functional and technical requirements.
6. You will be part of a fast growing and exciting division whose culture is entrepreneurial, professional, rooted in teamwork and innovation.
7. You will participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with team members and customers.
8. You are expected to work within an international environment, using a broad set of technologies and frameworks.
Requirements:
9. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holder in applied computer sciences, applied informatics or a related field
10. At least 5 years of professional working experience Java/JEE application full-stack development technologies and tools
11. Strong experience with Angular for front-end development
12. Experience with designing & developing of applications using Java/J2EE technologies and tools such as Java, JavaScript and Typescript, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Maven, Docker, …
13. Hands-on experience with Cucumber for BDD
14. In-depth knowledge of container platforms and Docker
15. Experience in developing cloud-native applications
16. Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
17. Experience in the creation of technical designs and in leading technical designers
18. Understanding of event-driven architectures
19. Minimum of 2 years of experience with large business-critical applications
20. Proven track record of working in Agile development environments
21. Language requirements: fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and English
