We are looking for a seasoned technical purchasing professional to take on a 3 to 6 month assignment with one of our clients near the Belgian border.
Key Responsibilities
* Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, identify new opportunities and conduct thorough evaluations.
* Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
* Dispute Resolution: Manage complaints and disputes from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Tender Management: Coordinate calls for tenders, create purchase orders, and process workflows in SAP to ensure compliance and conformity.
* Contract Management: Draft contracts, verify price consistency, and manage the contract lifecycle until signature.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain or equivalent, at least 3 years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management, and knowledge of S2P procurement processes. Additionally, they should be proficient in SAP purchasing modules and have a solid understanding of legal basics for contract drafting.
