As part of an international group, the company operates in a dynamic and fast-growing environment, driven by strong values related to the energy transition and sustainability.To strengthen its Finance team in Belgium, the company is currently looking for an AP / AR Accountant to join a close-knit accounting team. Your new role As part of the Accounting team, composed of a Team Lead, a Finance Specialist, several Accountants and an Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for the operational management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for multiple entities.Your main responsibilities include: Verifying, posting and processing supplier invoices (AP) Following up on the invoice approval process Issuing and processing customer invoices (AR) Monitoring AP / AR ageing balances and managing discrepancies Following up on outstanding receivables and customer payments Reconciling GL accounts related to AP & AR Supporting month-end closing activities related to AP & AR Managing intercompany transactions Collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing issues Supporting the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks Your profile You hold a degree in Accounting You already have one or more relevant experiences in a similar AP / AR / Accounting role Experience in an international or multi-entity environment is an asset You are very comfortable working with Excel Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a plus You work accurately, professionally and with strong attention to detail You are organised, pragmatic and solution-oriented You enjoy working in a team within a human-sized organisation You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a very good command of the other national language, as well as a passive knowledge of English What you'll get in return A permanent contract Full-time employment or minimum 80 % Several days of remote work per week after the training period A complete and competitive salary package in line with your experience (± €3,500 gross various extra-legal benefits such as €10 meal vouchers, €174 net allowances, insurances and a bonus) A human, dynamic and flexible work environment focused on solutions The opportunity to work in a sustainable sector within a stable and international environment What you need to do now Are you interested in this role?
