Business Controller Belgium Your role Are you ready to make a real impact in a dynamic, international environment? We're looking for a Business Controller to join our team in Belgium and play a key role in driving strategic decisions, optimizing performance, and supporting business growth. As a trusted finance partner, you'll work closely with the Benelux Finance Manager, and cross-functional teams to deliver insightful analysis, ensure financial accuracy, and help shape the future of our operations. Main responsibilities: Execute accurate analysis, to support strategic priorities and minimize risks Drive value within the business through margin review, optimizing expenses, evaluating operational efficiencies Managing relationship with mail business and staff departments Managing relationship with hub finance team (local, abroad), internal and external auditors, consultants Comply with internal and external policies Key tasks · Prepare and submit monthly IFRS reporting packages, including accruals, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. · Deliver monthly performance reports and business reviews (MBRs), offering clear recommendations to support decision-making. · Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting cycles, as well as the annual budget process. · Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure financial health and agility. · Analyze margins, spending trends, and operational efficiencies to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value. · Review vendor and customer agreements from a financial perspective. · Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. · Build strong relationships with business and staff departments, hub finance teams (local and abroad), auditors, and consultants. Main requirements · 5–10 years' experience in management control within large multinational companies. · Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. · Solid knowledge of SAP, Oracle Essbase, BI tools, and statutory reporting systems. · Previous experience in audit or accounting is a strong asset. · Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. · Excellent project coordination and teamwork abilities. · A proactive, helpful, and collaborative attitude.
