Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient structural designs.Key ResponsibilitiesStudy and design new steel structures and adaptations to existing onesPerform specialized structural calculations and manage study planningGuide internal and external designers in developing calculation modelsPrepare technical tender documentation and support the procurement phaseValidate and deliver produced structures at manufacturers or testing facilitiesProvide technical support during site execution and preparation of worksFollow up on quality management, inspections, and reportingOptimize and implement calculation rules in engineering software toolsYour ProfileMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or PhysicsJunior profile with strong academic background and interest in steel structures orMedior profile with relevant experience in steel/structural engineeringStrong affinity for technical and detailed studiesExperience with steel structure design and engineering software (3D, FEM)Knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant standardsStructured, responsible, and a strong team playerNice to have:Experience in engineering or expert rolesKnowledge of MS Project, VB.NET, VBA scripting, or FortranLanguagesExcellent knowledge of Dutch or French, with basic knowledge of the other national languageGood professional knowledge of English (spoken and written)
