As Vice President Business Partnering & FP&A, you will set the strategic direction and lead the Business Control and FP&A teams within Finance. You will ensure financial oversight and control of Telenet’s operations, while safeguarding the integrity of the company’s P&L and Balance Sheet.
You will be accountable for achieving key financial targets (including OCF, OFCF & FCF with a focus on working capital), managing the full planning cycle (budget, forecast, Plan of Record – 3 years, and Long Range Review – 8 years), and overseeing monthly reporting of both financial and non-financial KPIs.
You will drive strong governance and capital allocation tracking, challenge and guide the Senior Leadership Team in achieving their financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with business departments to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with company goals.
* Act as the primary liaison between business units and executive leadership to ensure their insights and needs are reflected in the broader company strategy.
* Identify and lead operational improvements, implement best practices and drive innovation across departments to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Own the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.
* Lead the development of the Plan of Record (3-year plan) and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
* Lead the FP&A consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on KPIs, P&L and Capex to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, Liberty Global, and Board.
This includes:
* Collaborating with Portfolio & Strategy leads and SLT to define strategic goals.
* Maintaining regular interaction with domain leads to ensure data accuracy and insight into commercial and operational drivers.
* Monitoring performance versus forecast, budget, POR and LRR.
* Conducting monthly performance reviews with SLT members.
* Keeping strong focus on working capital management.
* Accountable for reviewing, challenging, and making recommendations on all capital allocation decisions within Telenet’s Capex portfolio.
* Together with the CFO, provide leadership to the broader Finance team by steering strategic and tactical decisions, defining the Finance vision and priorities, and engaging across the function including in M&A projects.
* Work with SLT members to monitor financial and business performance, analyze variances, and ensure mitigation plans where needed.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to business partnerships and department initiatives while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Provide leadership, development, and engagement to a team delivering proactive financial and performance analytics.

Your Profile Education & Qualifications
* Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
* Additional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CIMA are a strong plus.
Knowledge & Experience
* At least 10 years of combined experience in controlling, planning, forecasting, reporting, and accounting.
* At least 5 years of people management experience, with a proven track record in growing and leading larger teams.
* Experience in Telecom, Media, or Entertainment is an asset.
