The expansion of the Sustainability Department means we are now looking to recruit a new Circular Economy Manager in Visé (BE) and reporting to the Group Sustainability Director.

As Circular Economy Manager, you'd be leading the Circular Economy part of Knauf Insulation’s For A Better World (FABW) strategy in order to ensure that circular economy targets will be met through alignment of the efforts across the organization. You’d support the implementation of the programs and ensure cross fertilization through best practice sharing across the company.

What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the Circular Economy (CE) Strategy, providing internal guidance to market and production teams on setting up recycling services in the different markets. This guidance covers the business aspects, the regulatory aspects, the development aspects as well as the operational aspects. Leading the Circular Economy SteerCo and the work with other departments providing support to the circular economy strategy.
* Drive the transition program towards implementation of the Circular Economy strategy, keeping an overview of the projects, running or in the pipeline, to achieve the CE targets. Provide input & participate in the key KI projects related to achieving the Circular Economy targets.
* Be the topic reference person, staying up-to-date on the Circular Economy developments in our environment and sharing key learnings internally. Ensure that waste management services are harmonized across the company. Represent KI in external events related to circular economy and represent KI in Circular Economy discussions at Knauf level.

What we’d love for you to have:
* Higher education – studies with a sound technical & managerial background
* 5 - 10 years’ experience in project & program management
* Experience in circular economy related topics
* Ability to take a strategic vision on a topic and to communicate with higher management
* Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal with ambiguity and to handle several tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent English
If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:
* Good understanding of the functioning of a waste business
* French and German are an additional strength
