About the Role
CONVERSATIONAL UX WRITER
What you will achieve (mission)
As a UX Writer, you craft clear, concise, and user centric copy that guides the user and enhances the users experience of our digital products, with a focus on conversational interfaces. You create intuitive and consistent copy, mainly microcopy, to ensure a seamless interaction between our users and our chatbots. Your goal is to write on brand, empathetic, and user friendly copy that aligns with our business goals and policies.
What you will do (deliverables & responsibilities)
You write engaging, user focused copy that enhances the experience of our products.
You do so by:
Crafting clear, concise, and empathetic microcopy for each turn in the conversation flow
Ensuring tone, voice, and user friendliness across all chatbot replies
Collaborating with cross functional teams, including legal, customer service, and product teams, to align language with policy and business goals
Structuring information in a way thats easy to digest in a chat format (e.g., progressive disclosure, quick replies, scannability)
Iterating on and adjusting UX copy based on user feedback from user tests and chatbot analytics
Ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in all UX copy
Rephrasing copy written by colleagues in other languages (e.g. English, Dutch)
Updating our content database with your copy Together with your fellow UX Writers you also develop and maintain UX copy guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across products and channels.
You work closely with designers, product experts and developers to ensure that every piece of text is fully integrated in our chatbot conversations.
Who you are (skills & competences)
Your specialized knowledge (Craft skills)
You understand the conversational microcopy writing techniques and have proven experience as a conversational UX Writer, or in a similar role. You have a strong portfolio showcasing UX Writing exles.
You are familiar with Content Architecture for Conversations and are able to structure information in a way thats easy to digest in a chat format.
You are able to understand a full customer journey to create relevant and effective conversations. You are familiar with the conversation design process for chatbots and have worked with chatbot teams before.
You have stellar writing skills in French and are fluent in Dutch (B2/C1 or above) and English (B1/B2 level or above).
