About the Role:
As a Field Support Technician, you will be embedded in a dynamic office environment where you will be the go-to person for a broad range of IT and AV support needs. Your responsibilities will span across:
• On-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Asset inventory management — tracking, updating, and maintaining records of IT equipment
• Imaging and refreshing of computers and devices to keep them current and optimally functioning
• Troubleshooting common IT issues including printers, software errors, and connectivity
• Setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio/video equipment (projectors, microphones, video conferencing systems)
• Operating AV systems during live events and resolving any arising technical issues
• Collaborating with senior IT staff to resolve complex problems and improve support processes
• Maintaining accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and equipment maintenance
What We're Looking For:
• A high school diploma or equivalent; IT or AV certifications are a plus
• Proven experience providing IT support in an office environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
• Familiarity with video conferencing platforms, networking basics, and asset management tools is preferred
• Exposure to life sciences, healthcare, or pharma environments (and HIPAA standards) is an added advantage.
