The Role:
We are seeking a Freelance Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for water treatment facilities. You will work closely with our engineering and project teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical systems for water treatment plants, including power distribution, motor control, and automation systems.
* Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
* Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
* Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical equipment.
* Ensure designs comply with local codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions with mechanical, civil, and process systems.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in water treatment, utilities, or industrial sectors.
* Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
* Strong understanding of motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems.
* Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (IEC, NEC, or local codes).
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and deliver projects on schedule.
