Job Description:
Our ever-growing Lifecycle Safety Medical team is expanding. The role participates in all aspects of the Medical Safety activities as per scope of work. This includes providing PV and risk management expertise, maintaining knowledge relevant to product portfolios, conducting medical evaluations of adverse reactions, reviewing safety data, contributing to safety reports, and supporting pharmacovigilance operations.
Role responsibilities:
* Providing aggregate reviews of safety information to oversee a product’s safety profile.
* Leading signal detection and analysis, including strategy, review, and reporting.
* Contributing to safety and benefit-risk evaluation reports for regulatory submissions.
* Reviewing and contributing to development and risk management plans.
* Reviewing benefit-risk assessments for clinical trials and post-marketing setups.
* Supporting label development and updates.
* Contributing to safety summaries and technical documents.
* Clarifying trial-related adverse events and post-marketing reactions, including narrative and causality assessments.
* Representing safety findings in stakeholder meetings.
* Providing safety support for governance and other meetings as needed.
Candidate requirements:
* A medical degree from an accredited medical school.
* Approximately three years of clinical practice plus two years in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of clinical research regulations, safety guidelines, and good clinical practice.
* Familiarity with product portfolios, therapeutic areas, and recent literature.
* Experience in signal detection, aggregate reports, and risk management.
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs.
* Effective working relationships with colleagues and clients, with potential mentorship roles.
