About ENTSO-E ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders. Job description We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive student to join us as an intern for a 6 months period. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic ICT environment and to contribute to impactful technical support for internal services and staff. The successful candidate will work in the ICT Section of the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels. Your responsibilities With a supervision of a manager: Provide technical support for ENTSO-E internal users. Resolve 1st Line technical issues over Zendesk ticketing, via live chat, or on-site in a friendly and professional manner. Escalate to Level 2 or Level 3 experts if necessary and do the follow up with the customer. Maintain and develop your own knowledge and skills to assist with first time fault resolution. Identify and escalate repeated issues or service risks into service management teams. Support with IT onboarding and outboarding process when required. Follow asset management processes and update inventories when needed. Your profile We are looking for a motivated professional with the following skills and qualifications: Be a full time student in the IT Field. Familiar with ICT diagnostic and troubleshooting. Good Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word). Excellent oral and written skills in English. Motivation to work in a multinational and multicultural environment. Excellent organisation skills, reactive and well organised. Set up an internship agreement between the university & ENTSO-E. Be available on a full-time basis for a minimum of 6 months. Be eligible to travel and stay in Belgium for the duration of the traineeship. Provide proof of health insurance coverage by university.
