To provide project controls, monitoring and data-driven reporting support across engineering and construction projects, improving cost, schedule and risk visibility and driving digitalisation and process efficiency improvements.
Key responsibilities
* Lead cashflow forecasting, vendor forecast reconciliation, invoice recording and accruals reporting to maintain accurate project financial baselines.
* Prepare and maintain project progress and performance reports (cost, schedule, EHS, change & risk, documentation) using interactive dashboards for regular client presentations.
* Develop, standardise and automate templates and cyclical project controls processes to increase efficiency and consistency across teams.
* Support tender analyses, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation and commercial validation during procurement and bidding phases.
* Review contracts and assist with change management and approvals, including automating trackers and workflows to accelerate EWN/change order approvals.
* Provide training and change adoption support to project teams and global counterparts on improved tools, automations and reporting practices.
* Act as a digital ambassador: introduce and implement digital solutions (Power BI, Looker Studio, GSuite automations) that enhance data visualisation and team productivity.
Required skills and competencies
* Project controls & monitoring: cashflow analysis, accruals reporting, progress reporting, change & risk tracking.
* Data analytics & visualisation: experience building interactive dashboards (Power BI, Looker Studio) and producing client-ready presentations.
* Commercial & estimating skills: quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, tender sum analyses, supplier negotiation awareness.
* Technical background: civil/structural engineering understanding to interpret design and construction deliverables.
* Digital savviness: automation, template standardisation, GSuite proficiency and willingness to champion digital change.
* Communication & collaboration: able to coordinate with multinational teams, present to clients and deliver upskill trainings.
Qualifications & experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related).
* 5–8 years’ relevant experience across project controls, cost/commercial management and structural/industrial engineering projects (warehouses, cold storage, data centres beneficial).
* Professional licensure (e.g., licensed Civil Engineer) and/or certifications such as Project Planning & Controls Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt are advantageous.
* Technical skills: Proficiency in ERP/SAP/Primavera, budget tracking, forecasting, KPI reporting
* Skills: Developing dashboards for the client, variance analysis, preparing project reviews, supporting operational teams
* Languages: ENG/FR
* Availability / mobility: On-site 5 days a week
