Responsibilities Design, document, and visualize the architecture of our cloud services and supporting tools.
Work closely with the product development team to ensure the design is supported and implemented.
Act as an expert and coordinate with our dedicated technology suppliers and implementation partners.
Analyze risks and assess the potential impact of architectural changes.
Key Technologies You'll Work With Cloud Platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure (a plus)
Managed Services: Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Cognito, Kinesis, AWS IoT Core, AWS SageMaker
Application Virtualization: ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Continuous Integration Tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
DevOps Tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.
Qualifications You hold a Master's degree and have a strong interest in computer science.
You possess knowledge of some of the above technologies or have a strong eagerness to learn.
You have expert knowledge of at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.
You understand IoT concepts, ideally including communication with low‐resource embedded devices.
You're familiar with microservice‐based architectures using containerization and/or serverless technologies.
You have proven experience in API design and data‐model creation.
You stay up to date with industry trends and enjoy innovating through research, proofs of concept, and demos.
Cloud security is critical — expert‐level understanding of key security principles is required.
You have several years of professional experience, enabling you to work independently and bring structure to a growing organization.
You think conceptually and can present insights clearly to both the team and management.
You have experience in project management or can coordinate activities involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
