We’re seeking a Senior Solution Architect (Infrastructure & Platform) for a high-impact freelance assignment with our client, a leader in digital transformation for the professional services sector. You’ll architect and drive the next generation of secure, scalable, and innovative IT platforms, directly shaping the digital backbone for thousands of users. What You’ll Be Doing
Design and document end-to-end solution architectures across functional, technical, integration, and security domains
Align IT solutions with business strategy, ensuring every architecture decision drives measurable value
Develop and maintain reference architectures for platform and security services
Establish and promote architecture standards, best practices, and technology roadmaps
Ensure all solutions comply with defined architectural principles and governance
Guide and mentor delivery teams, validating technology choices and integration patterns
Champion the introduction of emerging technologies and continuous platform improvement
Provide technical leadership and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, infrastructure architects, and security experts
Act as a trusted advisor and mentor within the organization
What We’re Looking For
10+ years in IT, including experience as a Developer, Analyst, Project Manager, or Architect
Minimum 7 years of senior-level experience designing enterprise-scale solutions
Proven track record in architecting complex infrastructure and platform solutions
Ownership mindset — you take initiative, drive outcomes, and lead by example
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical Skills
Cloud Architecture (public, private, hybrid)
Security Architecture (identity, access management, data protection)
Automation and DevOps practices
Integration patterns and API management
Experience with modern technology stacks and enterprise platforms
Professional proficiency in English is required
Knowledge of French or Dutch is a strong advantage
