Ideatec is looking for a Firmware and Hardware Developer. Ideatec designs and manufactures embedded electronic products (controllers and sirens) for emergency and intervention vehicles. Work environment: Full-time permanent contract (4/5 possible), 2 days per week of remote work. Responsibilities
New product development Improvement of existing products Participation in the creation of specifications Participation in defining technological orientations Technical support to customers Contact with subcontractors and management of technical files made available to them Creation of test benches and procedures for validation Creation and maintenance of technical documentation Qualifications / Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (M/F/X) Minimum 5-10 years of experience in software development: C and C++ Minimum 5-10 years of experience in hardware development: schematics, BOM creation, PCB design using Altium Knowledge and/or experience with WiFi/Bluetooth technologies Knowledge and/or experience with CAN bus Knowledge of project management methodologies (V-model) Creative, able to propose innovative solutions Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts Languages: French and English required, another language is an asset Organized, able to prioritize tasks, methodical and rigorous in order to achieve objectives focused on customer satisfaction Motivated, versatile and dynamic, able to work in a team Interest in the automotive sector is an asset Interest in 3D mechanical design, knowledge of Solidworks is an asset Offer
