Then we have the opportunity for you! We’re seeking a Delivery Station Manager to join our Amazon Logistics team in João Pessoa - PB. You’ll operate out of one of our dynamic Delivery Stations: they are at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing Operations and Logistics network: they’re where we sort and process our parcels.
As a Delivery Station Manager, you’ll deliver inspiring, supportive leadership for the teams you lead. You’ll roll up your sleeves and get involved whenever necessary. You’ll develop a team of Shift Managers and their direct reports, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. Your leadership is key to success: you’ll motivate and inspire your teams, while planning schedules and activities that balance team needs with business needs. You will lead on numerous process improvement projects to streamline activities for yourself and the team, with ideas that could be rolled out across the Amazon network.
Key job responsibilities
* Leads all delivery station operations with accountability for safety, quality, performance, customer experience, and people development.
* Drives the station’s vision by creating quality and process improvements to meet and exceed business targets; identifies and addresses performance gaps.
* Sets clear expectations for Operations, Area, and Shift Managers; measures performance and holds them accountable.
* Manages a 24/7 operation handling Amazon last-mile deliveries under growing volume and complexity; oversees day-to-day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and presents operational metrics to senior leadership.
* Builds and executes a comprehensive talent plan covering acquisition, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
* Leverages the management team to generate and implement improvement ideas; fosters a strong culture of engagement across station levels.
* Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts, and the broader network.
* Partners with key stakeholders — including Transport & Sortation, Finance, HR, Loss Prevention, and Engineering — to secure resources and support for strategic initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
* Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
* Experience in people management
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
* Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production/Procurement, Distribution, Logistics or related environment/operations experience
