Your Mission
As our E-Bike Spare Parts Manager in Amsterdam, you will be the key person ensuring smooth operations in our workshop: You order, manage, and optimize our spare parts inventory so our mechanics can repair and refurbish e-bikes quickly and efficiently. Your work directly impacts repair speed, cost control, customer satisfaction, and our ability to scale.
Your main tasks
Daily ordering and re-ordering of e-bike spare parts (OEM and aftermarket) from various suppliers
Supplier management: Negotiate prices, conditions, and delivery times – build strong relationships
Inventory management: Monitor stock levels, avoid stockouts and overstock, optimize capital tied up in parts
Perform inventory postings (entries, adjustments), conduct physical stocktakes
Supply the correct parts to mechanics in a timely manner
Early identification of critical parts (discontinued items, price increases, supply bottlenecks)
Close collaboration with the workshop team, operations, quality, and logistics
Maintain clean and accurate master data in our own ERP system
Contribute to smarter stocking strategies for fast- and slow-moving parts
What you bring (Must-haves)
Practical experience in purchasing / managing spare parts (ideally automotive, bicycle/e-bike, moto, or industrial aftermarket)
Strong organizational skills and a numbers-driven mindset – you hate when things are out of stock or money is wasted on excess inventory
Very good English (spoken and written) – our teams are international, no dutch needed
Hands-on mentality: You're not afraid to pick up the phone, chase suppliers, or jump into the warehouse when needed
Independent working style with full ownership of your area
You are not afraid to take ownership, you tackle things until they are done
Nice-to-have
Experience in the e-bike / bicycle sector
Familiarity with ERP systems
Knowledge of inventory concepts (safety stock, reorder point, MOQ, lead times)
Previous negotiation of supplier agreements
