Summary: A career within PwC Private offers the opportunity to assist private companies with audit, tax compliance, and planning, enhancing operational efficiency and focusing on business strategy. You'll experience the entire lifecycle of a private company, from inception to growth, maturity, and transition. Our team designs personalized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals, focusing on wealth management, compliance, cash flow, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.
Our PwC Private teams support entrepreneurs, private business owners, and family enterprises in managing ownership and growth. PwC’s High Net Worth (HNW) practice, part of PwC Private, supports high-net-worth individuals and iconic Canadian families with tax and advisory needs. This role focuses on assisting HNW families with cross-border tax issues, including estate planning for US citizen family members and Canadians with US assets.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a PwC Private Cross Border Tax Senior Manager, you’ll solve complex issues from strategy to execution, including:
* Navigate cross-border complexities
* Design and implement personalized service plans
* Focus on wealth management, compliance, equity, divestiture, and intergenerational transfer
* Lead coaching conversations and manage details
* Develop expertise in Canadian and US tax rules
* Foster an environment of collaboration and trust
Experience and skills you'll use to solve
* A Master’s in Tax, CPA or equivalent, and TEP designation or pursuing one are assets
* Experience in public accounting or law firms with complex cross-border tax planning
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor staff
* Business development enthusiasm
* Research, organizational skills, proactive attitude
Compensation
Salary ranges from $115,500 to $192,400 plus bonus, depending on skills, experience, and location.
