We are looking for a vehicle mechanic for a workshop in Zaventem. You will work for a top employer and a well-known global vehicle manufacturer.
As a mechanic you are responsible for vehicle testing activities.
Your tasks:
-You replace engine components and vehicle components and ensure the correct function and smooth start of the engine for testing.
-You prepare and install different types of sensors and data acquisition systems.
-You do basic maintenance works like, oil & filter changes, liquids change, brakes changes & suspensions changes.
-You align tires for the right direction, you replace tires, you balance tires and mount the wheels.
-You replace transmissions and clutches.
-You test driving the vehicles to evaluate its behavior after parts replacement.
-You work with repair manuals and wiring diagrams.
-You will do basic TIG/MIG welding and machining skills.
-You manage spare parts and consumables and you ensure stock control.
ProfielYour profile:
You have a good knowledge of English
You have 1 year of experience in a mechanical workshop
You have a drivers license B, this is mandatory
You are a teamplayer
