You are in your element if...
As an R&D project management officer (PMO), you will manage a portfolio of high-impact projects that improve how our R&D teams operate, make decisions, and measure success. Working at the intersection of innovation, performance, and strategy, you’ll ensure that key initiatives run smoothly, data is turned into action, and resources are used wisely.
1. In this role, you monitor our R&D project portfolio. You analyze internal and external data to track progress, measure KPIs, and evaluate how initiatives align with our broader goals. By overseeing innovation budgets and financial reporting, you ensure resources are used effectively and transparently enabling sound, data driven, decision-making across the organization.
2. To make this intelligence actionable for others, you translate insights into intuitive tools and clear communication. You develop and maintain custom Power BI dashboards and deliver concise, executive-ready presentations. These tools give leadership real-time visibility and a solid basis for prioritizing and steering R&D efforts.
3. Beyond analysis and reporting, you lead improvements that strengthen how we work. You support project managers across a diverse portfolio—ensuring consistent methods, smart prioritization, and strong governance.
4. And as a trusted voice within innovation committees, you stay ahead of industry trends and help shape the future of R&D.
5. You will play a key role in fostering a data-driven culture and identifying valuable data use cases. By proactively leveraging data generated throughout the development process, you will propose innovative solutions aimed at continuously enhancing performance.
This role reports directly to the R&D Manager.
You'll succeed if:
6. You hold a master's degree, preferably in an economics-related field.
7. Experience in a R&D analytical role is an asset.
8. You have strong analytical skills and can create clear, impactful reports and presentations.
9. You have a keen eye for detail.
10. You excel at "storytelling" and translating numbers into presentations.
11. You can present these insights effectively to everyone in the organization, including at the executive level.
12. You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
Next to your skills, it is your drive and motivation that will make all the difference!
