Position:
Head of Project Engineering
The role can be done from any location in Europe or the US that is close to a GSK location.

Job Purpose:
This senior leadership role influences GSK's strategic direction regarding project engineering on large capital projects. The role involves defining strategic goals aligned with business objectives, including advancing digitisation and sustainability initiatives. The role holder will be recognized as an expert in at least one engineering area, reporting to the VP of Global Capital Projects, and being a key member of the GCP Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical direction and mentor across geographies.
* Lead a team of senior engineering leaders and experts globally.
* Ensure adherence to engineering standards and project management frameworks.
* Oversee capability development and deployment for projects over £10m.
* Support multiple engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
* Collaborate with technical authorities and standards bodies to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
* Engineering degree; advanced degree preferred.
* 15+ years experience in high-tech life science project delivery.
* Deep understanding of the project lifecycle and construction project delivery.
* Proven leadership of large, diverse engineering teams globally.
