The Valuations team, which is part of KPMG’s Deals & Strategy practice, assists clients in understanding the true value of businesses, shares and certain assets, in order to support management, company directors, shareholders and other stakeholders of companies and of private and public sector organizations in their decision making. In order to reinforce our Valuations team and to enable further growth, we are looking for a motivated, bright individual with a minimum of 4 years of relevant corporate finance experience. As a Senior Consultant in the Valuations team, you will function within the Deals team with an emphasis on providing valuation advice to clients active in different industry sectors. The valuation advice will mainly include the valuation of businesses, shares and intangible assets (brands, customer relations,…) for various purposes (M&A, accounting, tax, internal reorganisations, disputes,…) and assisting clients with Purchase Price Allocations (IFRS 3) and impairment tests (BE GAAP and IAS 36). Performing market and financial research, analyzing financial statements, conducting pricing or valuation analysis and producing valuation reports; You will collaborate closely with other team members, with the client’s Finance or M&A team and with other KPMG teams (audit, tax, legal, strategy…); You will help our teams and clients to succeed if you have the following qualifications, expertise and skills: Masters’ degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (M&A, financial modelling and valuations); Especially knowledge of different valuation techniques that can be applied to value companies, businesses, intangible assets, options… is an asset; Financial Services, Energy and infrastructure, Technology; Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and work towards solid solutions; You are confident working with AI tools, have a critical mindset in using AI in everyday tasks and team collaboration; Excellent organizational and planning skills and able to perform consistently at a high level and at times under high pressure while adhering to strict deadlines; A confident self-starter who can work independently in multidisciplinary (deal) teams and who has a desire to understand and tackle complex problems; Excellent written and oral communication in Dutch and/or French, in addition to English. charging card, net allowances, bonus, your choice of Apple/Android device, and lots of extras you can personalize with our cafeteria plan.
