As an intern with The Lighthouse (Data & AI) team, you will support one of our core services, which include: AI Strategy & Transformation: Creating a vision and strategy, developing and implementing a transformation roadmap around data and AI. Data Management and Digital Governance: Building trust in data by establishing governance, processes, and technologies for data management. Business Intelligence and Analytics: Enabling businesses and people by delivering actionable data and insights to support decision-making. Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning: Leveraging advanced analytics by understanding the strengths and limitations of these techniques to maximize returns from analytics and AI initiatives. Intelligent Automation and New Tech: Creating strategy and operating models for sustainable human/robot co-existence through radical innovation and leveraging new technologies. Digital Solution Architecture Development: Providing technical support to drive digital transformation and next-generation architectures. Depending on your background and interest we can define your focus areas and responsibilities together. In your role you, you will typically support some of the following activities: Performing research: conduct in-depth research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive analysis. Present your finding to the team, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions and business development. Conduct experiments / proof-of-concepts: Design and implement innovative experiments to test new ideas, algorithms, and solutions. Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations for improvements and next steps. Collaborating with teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts. Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions. Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of project work, methodologies, and findings. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentation to communicate results to stakeholders. Creating marketing material: Develop and design engaging marketing content to promote The Lighthouse's services. This includes writing articles, creating compelling presentations, and designing eye-catching infographics that showcase our capabilities and achievements. While academic qualifications are important, there are several other main competences we highly value, including: A broad interest in IT and business processes Enthusiasm about working in a project based environment Strong client orientation and being a real team player A natural ambition and high motivation Fluent in Dutch or French and English We offer We offer internships exclusively during the second semester (February to June) at our Zaventem HQ.
