The Role
As a Project Manager – Process & Utilities, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuity and success of strategic engineering projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will take over from a seasoned SME and lead complex technical initiatives related to clean and black utilities, process equipment, and facility upgrades. This is a hands-on project management role requiring strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the client’s engineering leadership and working closely with cross-functional teams, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading end-to-end project execution for utilities and process systems (PAL/MAL creation, HVAC design, tank revamping, PW/WFI loop upgrades, etc.)
* Managing building extension projects with utility impact assessments
* Overseeing modifications to ACI/ACP networks
* Ensuring compliance with GMP and pharmaceutical standards
* Coordinating design, installation, and commissioning activities
* Managing project timelines, budgets, and reporting
* Driving stakeholder alignment and change management
* Identifying and mitigating project risks
* Ensuring technical documentation and validation deliverables are completed.
Your Profile
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced professional who combines technical depth with project leadership skills:
* You own a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
* You have a Minimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environments
* Proven track record in managing utilities and process-related projects
* You are an expert in clean and black utilities, HVAC, PW/WFI systems, and process equipment
* You have a Solid experience in project management: planning, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder communication
* You are fluent in both English and French
* You are autonomous, proactive, and a solution-oriented person.

You will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team of experts working on high-impact projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, validation, quality, and operations teams to deliver robust and compliant solutions.
