🌍 About the Role:
As a Marketing Intern – Channel Strategy, you will be located in Belgium and will play a key role in helping our group understand the current channel landscape (“AS-IS”) in our operating countries: Belgium, Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
Euroconsumers is the world’s leading consumer cluster in innovative information, personalised services, and defence of consumer’s rights.
Working in the Commercial Department at the international level, you will be responsible for gathering insights into each country’s marketing practices, analyzing their communication channels, the dedicated audience and supporting the development of strategic recommendations for future improvements.
🛠 Your Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct interviews and desk research to understand how each country currently uses its marketing channels (owned, earned, paid).
* Collect detailed information on:
* Which channels are used (e.g., email, social media, website, etc.).
* Types of content produced for each channel.
* Target audience per channel.
* KPIs and performance measurement tools in place.
* Role of each channel in the marketing funnel (awareness, consideration, conversion, loyalty).
* Identify best practices, local differences, gaps and new opportunities
* Prepare structured reports summarizing findings.
* Draft initial strategic recommendations for future improvement.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, Communication, Digital Media, or related field.
* A strong interest in digital marketing and channel strategy.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of social media platforms and performance metrics.
* Ability to express yourself fluently in English (spoken & written)
* Curious, proactive, and self-organized.
* Available from October to December (flexible working possible).
