Summary
As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of our offshore projects. You will collaborate with employees of all nationalities and disciplines and you might work on board of our vessels, on the project site or in one of our offices. Together we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future.

7. Being responsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of our projects;
8. developing method statements for our works before we go execute them offshore;
9. when on site, optimizing and implementing the method statements in practice;
10. communicating between site or vessel and the office;
11. keeping track of the installation process on the bridge on board one of our vessels;
12. monitoring the progress of the project, participate in coordinating activities in the field, optimize and fine-tune where necessary in support of the Works Manager or Superintendent;
13. taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively respond to questions from the project management;
14. ensuring planning, production reporting, budget control and cost monitoring.
15. MSc or BSc Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering or any other relevant engineering discipline;
16. Minimum of two years of relevant project management experience;
17. willingness to work abroad on our vessels or projects and in the office;
18. fluent in verbal and written English;
19. excellent team player.

Naval Architect for Offshore Operations
As a Naval Architect you will assess the workability limits of the offshore operations. The workability is a key element in the feasibility during the tender phase and is also one of the most important drivers in the decision making process during project execution. You will assess the workability by simulating the operations in hydrodynamic software packages and by co-engineering with colleagues in other disciplines in an international context. The work is mainly done from the office but offshore interventions are part of the job.

Technical Equipment Supervisor
The Technical Equipment Supervisor (TES), is the main responsible person for the technical state of the Cable Burial Tool (CBT), whether on the vessel during operations or on shore during maintenance and modifications. The TES is also the main responsible person on the vessel to execute burial in accordance with the agreed burial methodology and has a key role in the optimization of the burial process, improvement program for the trencher and the training of the operational crew.
