Our client is looking for a Senior Information Security Officer to support information security compliance, risk management and audit activities within a large-scale international IT environment.
The consultant will help ensure that information security standards, procedures and best practices are properly implemented, monitored and improved across technical teams, internal stakeholders and vendors.
The consultant will act as an expert in information security compliance and will support the implementation of the organization’s information security framework.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the implementation of information security standards and internal security models.
2. Performing compliance assessments and identifying non-compliance areas.
3. Following up on remediation actions and ensuring closure of findings.
4. Conducting internal audits on IT assets and supporting external audits.
5. Planning and performing vendor assessments based on information security requirements.
6. Managing internal and vendor-related risk portfolios.
7. Maintaining and improving security standards, procedures and documentation.
8. Supporting information security awareness activities.
9. Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to promote security best practices.
You have the following skills
10. Minimum 2 years of experience implementing, using or auditing ISO Management Structures.
11. Practical experience with ISO / Information Security Management Systems.
12. Experience in compliance assessments, internal audits and/or external audits.
13. Experience with vendor risk assessments and follow-up of findings.
14. Good understanding of IT infrastructure, software development and network operations.
15. Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office tools.
16. Knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow or configuration management is a plus.
17. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
18. Fluent English, written and spoken.
19. Dutch is a plus.
20. Structured, autonomous and well-organized way of working.
