About The Role
As a R&D Technical Project Lead, you act as the technical reference point within the project. You work closely with internal engineering teams to guide them, indicate where help is needed, and ensure that the technical work is progressing in the right direction.
You are not expected to be hands-on yourself, but you must be able to dive into the technical content, challenge solutions, and support the team in making the right choices.
This is not a Program Management role. Your focus is on engineering, problem-solving, and directing technical efforts within the teams, not on high-level portfolio oversight.
Key responsibilities
* Support engineering teams by providing technical direction and helping identify priorities.
* Coordinate and oversee R&D-driven engineering projects, ensuring alignment between hardware, software, and system components.
* Assist the team in identifying where support is needed and point them toward the right solutions.
* Facilitate collaboration between system engineers, developers, and test engineers.
* Identify technical risks and support the definition of mitigation plans.
* Ensure projects progress on time, within scope and budget, while meeting engineering and quality standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement, leveraging V-model or similar development methodologies.
What we\'re looking for
We are seeking a technically strong profile with the ability to guide teams:
* Master's degree in Engineering.
* Experience in R&D combined with project management and system engineering.
* Ability to dive into technical topics and guide teams (without being hands-on).
* Good understanding of product development, systems engineering, and integration/test flows.
* Focus should be operational and technical, close to the team.
* Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and proactive attitude.
* Fluent in French and English.
