As a General Ledger Accountant you will join the dynamic and international finance team of our client at the headquarters in Mechelen. You will get an overview of the entire accounting process and receive the chance to expand your skills by learning more about the international processes.
Your responsibilities as a General Ledger Accountant :
Consolidating and reconciling accounts
Supporting the preparation of VAT/CIT declarations, financial statements, and statistical reporting for 10 European countries
Providing monthly reports and analysis for other departments
This company is a multinational Japanese company specialized in high technology products such as sensors, microscopes, laser markers and vision measurement systems. The General Ledger Accountant we are looking for has:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in an Advanced Accounting role
Knowledge of accounting principles such as Belgian GAAP
Strong Excel knowledge
Strong communication skills in English (Business Proficiency)
Preferably experience with SAP
