A career within PwC Private offers the opportunity to assist private companies with audit, tax compliance, and planning, aiming to improve operational efficiency and allow clients to focus on business strategy. You will experience the entire business lifecycle, from inception to transition, designing tailored service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals, focusing on wealth management, compliance, cash flow, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.
Our PwC Private teams support entrepreneurs, private business owners, and family enterprises through various growth stages. PwC’s High Net Worth (HNW) practice, part of PwC Private, assists HNW individuals and families with tax and business advisory needs, including cross-border issues. This role will focus on estate planning for families with US citizens and Canadians with US assets.
Meaningful work
As a PwC Private Cross Border Tax Senior Manager, you will be part of a team solving complex business issues, including:
* Navigate cross-border and diverse team engagements
* Design and implement personalized service plans for private entities and HNW individuals
* Focus on wealth management, compliance, equity, divestiture, exit strategies, and intergenerational transfers
* Lead coaching conversations and manage details and strategy
* Develop expertise in Canadian and US tax rules and regulations
* Foster a collaborative environment and uphold ethical standards
Experience and skills
* Master’s degree in Tax, CPA, TEP, or pursuing these qualifications
* Experience in public accounting or law firms with complex cross-border tax planning
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently
* Business development and team mentorship skills
* Research, organizational skills, and proactive attitude
Compensation
The salary range for BC is $115,500 - $192,400, with potential bonuses, dependent on skills and location. Compensation may vary by region.
