For a banking customer in Brussels, we are searching for a freelance Procurement Expert (Non-IT Categories) to cover maternity leave until January.ContextThe assignment will start ASAP to ensure a smooth handover and provide additional support during a period of high transformation, including the implementation of new procurement tools and increased business demand.This role requires strong change management capabilities and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across the organization.Your MissionAs a Procurement Expert, you will take ownership of non-IT categories and actively contribute to both operational excellence and strategic transformation.Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across categories such as: Professional Services, Marketing, HR, Operations Services, Facility ManagementOptimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while ensuring quality and risk mitigationManage end-to-end RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ)Negotiate framework agreements, contracts, and SLAs with suppliersAct as a business partner to internal stakeholders, supporting project-specific procurement needsEnsure strong contract management and complianceMonitor and improve supplier performance in collaboration with the businessSupport the deployment of new procurement tools, driving adoption and change across teamsProfileMedior / Senior Profile3–6 years of experience in procurement (consulting experience is a strong asset)Proven experience in non-IT categories (Marketing, HR, Professional Services, FM, etc.)Strong negotiation and influencing skillsStrategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilitySolid experience in contract management & reviewGood understanding of risk management in procurementComfortable working with Excel and procurement toolsExperience with RFx processesAction-oriented and delivery-focusedStrong stakeholder management & communication skillsAbility to drive change in complex environmentsTeam player with natural leadership (no direct reports)Autonomous and adaptable in a fast-paced contextAdditional DetailsSENIORITY: ExperiencedSTART DATE: ASAPDURATION: 7 MonthsEXTENSION: TBCCONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: BrusselsONSITE POLICY: FlexibleHOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGUAGES: Fluent French and DutchINTERVIEW PROCESS: 1 stageIf you are interested, please forward your updated resume to jay.kukoyi@vividresourcing.com to be considered.
