We are looking for a driven Buyer who enjoys responsibility, variety, and daily interaction. In this role, you will support our Head of Purchase and take full ownership of the purchasing process for your product group.
What you'll do
* Manage the entire purchasing flow: from entering and following up orders to ensuring on-time deliveries.
* Communicate directly with suppliers: request quotes, verify confirmations, and solve issues proactively.
* Prepare purchase proposals and analyses, working closely with management on final decisions.
* Take care of administrative tasks such as container cards, transfer orders, stock checks, invoices, and credit notes.
* Act as a key player in optimizing orders, deliveries, and supplier relationships.
What we're looking for
* Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent through experience.
* Around 2 years of relevant experience; knowledge of overseas containers is a plus.
* Technically minded with strong communication skills in Dutch, English, and French.
* Structured, accurate, and dynamic, with a proactive "next level" mindset.
* Confident with MS Office and ready to master our in-house software.
* Independent but also a real team player.
