We foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.About the RoleAs a Dispatcher in our trucking department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics, from order entry to flight monitoring and delivery management.ResponsibilitiesEntering orders, informing internal departments, monitoring and adjusting onboard meals for flights, and supervising and organizing the loading of all catering products.Planning You validate and confirm orders.You process orders for day +1, day +2, and day +3.You process flights from the previous day in preparation for invoicing.You work closely with colleagues from production and dispatch.You follow up on documents and data and file them correctly.Trucking & Flight Monitoring You process same-day order changes (“Change Monitor”).You ensure delivery of modified orders (“last-minute orders”).You monitor flight data in IT systems.You organize and optimize the loading of all catering onto aircraft, taking into account any changes in aircraft type, position, departure time, and/or arrival time.You manage and allocate trucks and vehicles.You supervise drivers and prepare their schedules for the following day.You organize the unloading of aircraft, the cleaning of loading and unloading docks, and the dispatch of special shipments.You check and manage seals used to secure vehicles.You document any delays incurred.You prepare work schedules for night shifts. QualificationsYou hold at least a higher secondary education diploma. Required SkillsYou have a strong sense of responsibility and are customer-oriented and independent.You have strong communication skills and can work in Dutch, French, and English.You are able to manage colleagues to ensure timely departures of deliveries.You are flexible and willing to work some weekends, public holidays, and in shifts.You have strong problem-solving skills and can set priorities.You are comfortable working with a PC (Office package); specific software will be taught internally.You hold a category B driving licence and have a clean criminal record.You can work under pressure as the final link in the logistics chain.
