As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
1. Design and develop mechanical installations from conceptual phase through to detailed engineering
2. Integrate input from stakeholders such as project teams, maintenance, production and safety
3. Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings in accordance with applicable standards and specifications
4. Present and explain designs during technical meetings and adjust designs based on feedback
5. Prepare technical specifications for RFQs, purchasing of equipment, materials and services
6. Conduct technical discussions with suppliers and contractors
7. Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with project requirements
8. Prepare cost estimates in close cooperation with the project manager
9. Produce execution drawings and follow up works on site
10. Support and adjust designs based on site execution feedback
11. Document management: timely delivery of as-built documentation for correct archiving
Requirements
12. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (mechanical or electromechanical) or equivalent experience
13. 4yrs’ experience with industrial installations, from a design and/or maintenance perspective
14. Strong affinity with brownfield industrial environments
15. Experience with 2D and 3D design tools
16. Experience with Creo Modelling and AutoCAD is a strong asset
17. Basic knowledge of SAP and SharePoint is a plus
18. Solid working knowledge of MS Office
19. Able to work independently and technically substantiate design choices
