Payroll Bureau Administrator
Our goal is to deliver seamless and efficient payroll services that align with the organization's vision of empowering everyday convenience. We are looking for a skilled Payroll Bureau Administrator to join our team.
As a Payroll Bureau Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely compensation to employees. This involves working closely with multiple stakeholders, including Finance, HR Operations, and Service Management, to process payroll data and reconcile any discrepancies. You will also be responsible for managing payroll-related queries through our People Portal and providing timely and value-aligned responses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process accurate and timely payroll for ~500 employees in Belgium (blue and white collar), including all payments, deductions, and statutory obligations (taxes, social security, etc.).
* Reconcile payroll data and review provider output to ensure correct processing of starters, leavers, absences, and variable inputs.
* Manage payroll-related queries through our People Portal, ensuring timely and value-aligned responses.
* Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to provide accurate payroll reports and GL outputs.
* Support compliance by staying updated on payroll legislation and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.
* Assist with benefits administration, provider communications, and maintaining internal payroll and benefits documentation.
Requirements:
Proven payroll experience in a fast-paced environment, with deep knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation. Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and high PC literacy. Proven ability to accurately process, balance, and reconcile payrolls with a strong focus on data accuracy and attention to detail. Solid analytical, numeracy, and decision-making skills, paired with strong time management and organizational capabilities. Experience working with payroll providers, managing compliance, and delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
