The company operates a full-service model combining equipment rental, maintenance, logistics, and operational execution. It is now strengthening its presence in Belgium and Luxembourg, with strong ambitions to structure and scale its operations.
Position Overview
As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, compliance, and performance of all equipment, vehicles, and sites.
This is a highly operational and field-based role, combining technical expertise, team management, and hands-on involvement.
You will play a key role in supporting operations, ensuring service quality, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Management & Compliance
* Ensure full compliance of equipment and vehicles (regulations, safety, inspections)
* Guarantee availability, reliability, and proper functioning of all assets
* Organize and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
* Manage and optimize maintenance and subcontractor costs
* Ensure accuracy of inventories, spare parts, and technical data (ERP)
* Drive continuous improvement (processes, KPIs, organization)
Sites, Fleet & Stock Management
* Maintain and supervise depots, agencies, and equipment parks
* Manage stock levels and supply of spare parts
* Oversee the use and lifecycle of equipment
* Ensure operational efficiency and safety across all sites
Field Operations / Events
* Act as the main technical point of contact during events
* Coordinate installations (water, electricity, drainage systems, etc.)
* Manage technical teams and subcontractors on-site
* Handle technical support and troubleshooting during operations
Team Management
* Manage a team of approximately 3 technicians
* Plan, organize, and supervise daily activities
* Ensure coordination between technical and operational teams
* Work closely with General Management and other departments

* Strong technical and operational mindset
* Hands-on approach with a strong field orientation
* Ability to manage both people and operations
* Solution-oriented and structured
Experience
Proven experience in a technical and operational environment such as :
* equipment rental
* construction / BTP
* industrial services
* logistics / technical operations
Experience in:
* maintenance management
* fleet or equipment management
* team supervision
Skills
* Ability to manage subcontractors and technical teams
* Experience with KPIs and performance monitoring
* Comfortable with ERP and standard IT tools
Languages
* Dutch: mandatory
* French : professional level is a strong plus
* English: recommended
