As Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial and accounting activities, ensuring full compliance and business support. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Leading the full accounting process (general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets)
* Managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
* Preparing financial statements under FR GAAP, BE GAAP, and IFRS
* Handling tax compliance and regulatory reporting
* Managing internal and external audits
* Producing financial reporting and KPI dashboards for the executive team
* Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal controls
* Leading and developing a finance/accounting team
* Acting as a strategic finance partner to senior management (CEO, CFO, Board)
* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
* Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting roles
* Proven experience in the Financial Services industry (banking, insurance, asset management, fintech…)
* Solid knowledge of FR GAAP, BE GAAP, and IFRS
* Hands-on, detail-oriented, yet capable of stepping back to bring strategic insights
* Experience in managing teams and working cross-functionally
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus
