Your Mission
The System Architects are part of the
Research and Development group
. Their core mission is to design and develop the world leading solution for image guided Proton Therapy using ionizing radiations.
Following a recent reorganization, IBA is strengthening the BEAM system functions team. The new setup is based on
the product lifecycle.
To support this model, we are seeking a
System Architect
who will act as the
owner of the BEAM system functions architecture model
, bridging conceptual system definitions with detailed technical design and implementation through structural and functional decomposition and allocation.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and maintain the BEAM system functions architecture model.
* Define, propose, and evolve system architecture in close collaboration with system experts, requirement engineers, system owners and development engineers.
* Translate high-level concepts into structured solutions and ensure proper decomposition for engineering teams.
* Collaborate with requirement engineers to align the architectural decomposition with requirements and verification strategies.
* Contribute to cross-functional discussions involving architecture, safety analysis, test strategies, and design decisions.
* Act as the key link between conceptual architects, implementation teams, and engineering within BEAM system functions domain.
* Ensure the architectural model is consistent, well-documented, and understood across teams.
