PanTera is looking for a talented and experienced laboratory technician to strengthen our R&D team. This is a hands-on and diverse position that requires the willingness to work in a radioactive environment with the focus in assisting in chemical experiments. The ideal candidate has a broad technical skill set, is eager to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team at the forefront of medical isotope production.
In this role, you will support the ongoing production of Actinium-225, with a focus not only on maintenance but also on improving various systems. A significant part of the job involves prototyping and assembly work to support the transition toward a future large-scale Actinium production facility.
Responsibilities
* Conduct chemical experiments according to established protocols, record results and observations
* Setup of chemical installations and prototypes
* Calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment such as spectrometers
* Provide the Chemistry R&D team with feedback using your practical knowledge
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific policies
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in an industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical or R&D setting, preferably in a nuclear environment
* Familiarity with lab safety practices and documentation standards
* Proficiency in Dutch and English.
