We’re looking for a Senior Expert Engineer to lead the design of our Settlement platform. This role focuses on high-level, transversal functional design, emphasizing strategic insight and architectural knowledge.
Your day-to-day mission
1. Translate business needs into optimal functional solutions within the Euroclear ecosystem.
2. Ensure alignment with architectural principles and long-term strategic goals.
3. Provide expert support during production escalations, offering a transversal perspective.
4. Anticipate and mitigate risks proactively.
5. Act as a reference point for settlement-related functional design.
6. Drive strategic initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends.
7. Foster creative thinking and collaboration between internal teams, vendors, and outsourcing partners.
8. Lead high-level analysis and guide detailed implementation.
9. Drive solution definition and ensure design integrity throughout delivery.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
10. 5+ years of experience in functional design within financial settlement systems.
11. Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
12. Analytical thinking and problem-solving approach.
13. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
14. Ability to challenge and validate third-party solutions and budgets.
15. Risk awareness and anticipation mindset.
16. Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
