As an L&D Data & Systems Specialist, you'll be the pivotal force aligning HR, the business and learning & development tools. You'll ensure our Learning Management System (LMS) runs smoothly and that training records, certifications, and learning pathways are fully up to date. But this role is about more than just system maintenance, you'll co-create the learning ecosystem of tomorrow.
From designing clear training matrices to working hand-in-hand with managers, trainers, and safety experts, you'll help build a strong learning culture, one that's safe, scalable, and future-ready.
Your mission
In the years ahead, our focus is on clean, structured, and strategic training data. You'll lead efforts to organize and future-proof our learning data architecture, ensuring that it supports compliance, performance, and development goals.
- Acting as the go-to person for all things related to the LMS: configuration, issue resolution, reporting, and improvements in collaboration with the IT team.
- Managing and optimizing training records, certification tracking, and learning histories for all employees.
- Designing and maintaining clear, role-based training matrices in close collaboration with operational leaders.
- Supporting the rollout of new training programs and digital learning tools, ensuring smooth integration into our systems.
- Ensuring learning data is structured, compliant, and accessible for audits, KPIs, and strategic decision-making.
- Driving the continuous improvement of our digital learning environment-identifying user needs, gathering feedback, and proposing enhancements.
- Partnering with IT, data, and compliance teams to ensure system security and data governance.
- Providing training and support to LMS users, including content owners and administrators.
- Helping shape a forward-looking, data-driven learning strategy aligned with the company's safety and development priorities.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- You have more than 4 years of experience in L&D (Training coordination, HR systems and reportings)
- You've already worked with LMS platforms (SAP Successfactors is an asset, not a must) and feel comfortable navigating their possibilities.
- You ideally feel comfortable defining the most relevant training methodology (classroom, blended learning, e-learning...)
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written.
- You're naturally curious, structured, and action-driven.
