Your role
Customers all over the world are looking for solutions to reduce the energy consumption of their compressed air systems and related air nets. Furthermore, they are looking to minimize the emission of greenhouse gases, related to the operations of the compressors and other utilities. CT Service Division offers a portfolio of products & services to assist our customers to realize these important energy savings, but there is much more potential in this activity.
To speed up this business growth, the CT Service Division will hire a Product Manager Optimization.
Your mission is to accelerate the growth of audits and smart sensors at a sustained and increasing profitability level. These solutions are crucial in identifying and securing the energy savings for our customers.
You will need to collaborate closely with the product managers of CTS and the equipment divisions, as well as CTS and Airtec engineering.
Inorganic growth will also play a crucial role. It will be your task to be part of our steerco that scouts and develops new targets, but also support in integrating newly acquired companies.
Main responsibilities:
* Responsible for the sensor and audit business in terms of NIS and consolidated gross profit.
* Collect and interpret information on customer's present and future needs and format this information into "Master Specifications" for new tools and product development.
* Act as process facilitator and ensure optimal project team working so that all aspects of the Master Specification are met, the project timing is respected, and product
* costs are achieved and followed-up correctly.
* Develop and roll out a clear vision for extending the AIRScan scope from Compressor room to a full factory continuous montitoring solution in releasing all required tools and support material (SMART sensors).
* Ensure that the potential value of AIRScan is fully reached, also by generating consequential business for the entire CT.
* Further develop the AIRScan Competence Center in GECIA to become the global support center for all Audit services.
* Construct process related actions, including sales approach, best practice in customer center, blueprint covering organization development, lead generation, quotation management, commission schemes, etc.
* Support the Customer Centers in defining and implementing the most efficient and effective organizational structure for promoting and implementing your solutions.
* Support the Customer Centers with the correct training material and support tools to improve knowledge, sales arguments and competitor information.
* Work closely with the equipment division Product Managers in setting up joint strategies and projects (AIRchitect).

* You have at least 3 years of experience in a technical or commercial role.

* You bring commercial insight: you understand how sustainable technology can drive business value.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at Airpower in Wilrijk, Belgium.
