Commercial Director Benelux
to further develop and strengthen the commercial organisation across Belgium and the Netherlands.
This is a leadership role combining commercial strategy, people leadership and growth development in a market that is mature, but still full of opportunity.
Reporting to the Head of Europe, the Commercial Director Benelux is part of the European leadership team and works closely with peers across countries to shape and execute the broader commercial agenda.
ROLE
The Commercial Director Benelux holds
full commercial and operational responsibility
for both Belgium and the Netherlands under an integrated P&L. The focus is on building on what is already in place, while creating new momentum for the next phase of growth.
Key responsibilities:
Leading the
commercial organisation
across Belgium and the Netherlands, with end-to-end P&L responsibility.
Defining and executing the Benelux
commercial strategy
across multiple channels, in line with European priorities and brand ambitions.
Identifying and realising creative
growth opportunities, such as new channels, customer partnerships, market segments and go-to-market approaches.
Leading, coaching and developing
sales and marketing teams
(direct and dotted lines), with a strong emphasis on engagement, collaboration and leadership development.
Bringing the Belgian and Dutch teams closer together, encouraging knowledge sharing, alignment and synergies.
Continuing the
transformation
journey by refining ways of working, stimulating innovation and strengthening customer‑ and category‑driven thinking.
Working closely with European colleagues on pricing, portfolio and promotional strategies, while keeping a strong feel for local markets.
Actively contributing to
innovation and strategic discussions, ensuring the Benelux perspective is well represented.
PROFILE
We are looking for a commercial leader who combines
strategic thinking
with strong
people
skills and a
hands‑on, pragmatic
mindset.
Proven experience in a commercial leadership role with P&L responsibility, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, toys, lifestyle or similar sectors.
Solid sales background, with a good understanding of marketing and trade marketing in a retail‑driven environment.
Experience in leading teams through change, growth or transformation phases.
A natural people manager who inspires trust, develops talent and creates an inclusive, high‑performing team culture.
Entrepreneurial, collaborative and solution‑oriented leadership style.
Able to balance long‑term vision with execution.
Fluent in French, English and Dutch.
A credible and authentic communicator who represents a strong consumer brand with confidence.
