About the position
A world-renowned European confectionery brand, is expanding rapidly in the Benelux. In this dynamic context, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, dynamic Key Account Manager ready to take charge of developing our success in Belgium and Luxemburg.
Your main mission will be to find and win new clients in the retail and out-of-home (OOH) sectors, build strategic partnerships and develop our presence in the region. You will evolve in a true start-up environment, with the freedom to experiment, innovate and drive your own initiatives, in close collaboration with our Sales Director and cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities:
6. Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with a portfolio of partners to foster long-term growth.
7. Strategic development: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to acquire new accounts and grow in the retail and out-of-home (OOH) markets, in close collaboration with other Key Account Managers.
8. Product launches and promotions: Design and implement comprehensive plans for new product launches and promotional activities to stimulate market engagement.
9. Annual negotiations and growth: Manage annual contractual negotiations, focusing on business growth and strengthening partnerships.
10. Budgeting and forecasting: Oversee budget allocation, prepare forecasts and collaborate on planning and logistics to ensure consistent product availability.
11. Market expansion: Identify and exploit market opportunities to introduce products into new markets, thus improving the company's overall performance.
12. Client P&L management: Take charge of client profits and losses (P&L) to ensure that financial objectives are met.
13. Cross-functional collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams to plan and execute creative, localized events that strengthen brand visibility in key target markets. Use Nielsen data and your own analyses to identify growth opportunities and optimize the assortment.

19. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
20. You speak Dutch and French fluently and also have a good command of English.
