International HR Officer – Impacting People and Processes

You’ll be the key link between candidates, colleagues, and the organization, ensuring every employee feels welcome and supported – from application to onboarding, from housing to HR administration.

Recruitment & Talent Follow-up
* Actively source candidates via LinkedIn, phone, and other channels
* Conduct initial interviews and build long-term relationships
* Schedule medical checks and interviews
* Join the HR team on recruitment trips abroad (three times a year)
HR Administration & Payroll
* Manage employee data: contract extensions, changes, and absences
* Maintain data in Excel and the HRIS system
* Work closely with the payroll colleague to ensure accurate salary processing
Housing & Quality of Life
* Find suitable housing for international employees
* Perform inspections and follow up on maintenance and cleanliness
* Monitor housing standards in accordance with Flemish labor migration regulations
Onboarding & Formalities
* Handle work permits and residence documents
* Organize onboarding moments and guide new employees through their first days
Point of Contact & Trusted Advisor
* Be available for questions, feedback, and support
* Act discreetly and solution-focused when dealing with problems or concerns
Must haves
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
* At least a first experience in an HR role
* Language skills in Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, or Turkish
* Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Dutch and/or English
* Empathetic, discreet, and hands-on attitude
* Willingness to work on-site and be part of an involved HR story
Nice to haves
* Knowledge of French
* Experience with HRIS systems and Excel
* Affinity with or experience in an international or operational context
